Guide for Authors Info
Manuscripts should describe the original work of the authors that has not been previously published in a refereed journal and is not currently under consideration for publication in another journal. By submitting to the Journal, the authors are taking public responsibilities of the legality and originality of the work.
There are no submission or article processing charges to publish in the journal.
The length of the manuscript should not exceed 15 pages (for review articles maximum 20 pages), including figures and tables. Each additional page costs 20 € per page.
The preferred format for submitting manuscripts online is Microsoft Word (.docx). Do not submit your manuscript in PDF format.
The journal uses double blind peer review, which means that both the reviewer and author names are hidden from each other during the review process.
The manuscript should be prepared according to the Guide for Authors.
Authors may also suggest potential reviewers who are familiar with the technical aspect of their paper. These suggestions should be impartial.
Authors should submit their manuscripts online via the Journal's online submission system.
After the manuscript is submitted, the corresponding author will receive an acknowledgment confirming receipt and a submission ID number.
If article has been accepted for publications, each author must sign a Copyright agreement form and send the signed form, in electronic format, to the Editor, together with the final version of the article. This enable us (The Journal) to have the rights to the paper in order to ensure copyright protection against infringerment, and to disseminate your article, and our journal, as wide as possible.
If you have any questions about the online submission process, contact the Editorial Office by e-mail at tribology@fink.rs
Authors should prepare their manuscripts submitted to the journal exactly according to the instructions given here. Manuscripts which do not follow the format and style of the journal may be returned to the authors for revision, or to choose the professional manuscript formatting.
Manuscript Revision
Revised manuscripts must include the following items:
- Responses to Comments that includes numbered point-by-point responses to the comments made by the Reviewers, Editor, and Editorial Office labeled as 'COMMENT' and 'RESPONSE' for each item.
- Marked Manuscript. Any text that was not part of the original manuscript but has now been added, underline formatting should be applied; to any text that was part of the original manuscript but has now been deleted, strikethrough formatting should be applied. Changes made on Figures and Tables should be clearly visible.
ORCID
Note that since 2019 we require that all authors/coauthors to have an ORCID (a unique researcher identifier) at the time of publication. Application for an ORCID is free of charge and only takes a few minutes - please go to ORCID.org to apply for one. We also recommend that the corresponding author contacts all of his coauthors and encourages them to obtain an ORCID during the manuscript preparation process. While they can be added after submission, ORCIDs are required in case of acceptance.
